Wendy Zink DO

Pediatrician and Mom 

Dr. Zink is a board certified Pediatrician. She grew up in Metro Detroit and has been living and practicing Pediatrics in Holland since 2006. She attended Michigan State University, and graduated with a BS in Physiology from the Lyman Briggs College. She attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She trained in Pediatrics at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She had her first child during pediatric residency and feels that the experience of becoming a parent taught her many practical lessons that you cannot learn in training. She now has four children with her husband David, a gastroenterologist. In her time away from medicine she is an avid soccer mom, a Disney uber fan, a figure skater, a runner and fitness enthusiast, and is not afraid to cook up lots of vegetables in the kitchen.

“As a mother of four kids, I have been in the trenches. I understand first hand many of the challenges and also the great rewards that parenting brings. One of the things I love about pediatrics is guiding new parents and watching them bloom in confidence and capability as they learn the skills to care for their children.”
